1. How do I get to Black Rock?
International flights arrive to the Belize City International
Airport (BZE). From there our van will transfer you to the
Lodge as well as transfer you back to the airport upon check-out.
The travel time from the airport to the lodge is 2.5 hours.
The closest town to Black Rock is San Ignacio in the Cayo
District of western Belize.

What do I need to bring with me to Black Rock?
Passport
Appropriate yoga attire
Hiking boots/sturdy shoes for hiking and horseback riding
Water shoes for tubing & caving

Will it be hot during my visit?
Daily temperatures reach about 90 degrees in May with
a cool down at night after sunset. Evening temperatures
can drop to about 70 degrees. A swim in the River during
the middle of the day is a wonderful way to cool off and
enjoy the scenery!
6.
Do I need to get any vaccinnations or innoculations before
my trip to Belize?
Black Rock recommmends you consult with your primary care
physician about your trip and whether s/he suggests any.

I am a vegetarian/vegan will I be able to be accommodated
at the BRL restaurant?
The Black Rock restaurant offers a varied selection of Vegetarian
and Vegan options.
8.
I have just begun my yoga practice is this retreat appropriate
for me?
Allison Richard believes yoga is for everyone! Please join
us any and all levels of practice are welcome.
9.
What types of Yoga will we be practicing?
Allison teaches a Hatha style of yoga which balances the
safety and alignment of Iyengar yoga with flow and breath
connection of Ashtanga yoga.
