Getting here
The Lodge employs a number of safe, well trained Belizean Driver/Tour Guides and we are able to transfer your party to the Lodge in one of our reliable, comfortable, and air-conditioned vehicles. We offer service to or from anywhere in Belize, Guatemala, or Mexico including: the Belize International Airport; the Belize City Municipal Airport; the Belize City Marine Terminal; any of Belize’s mainland hotels; Dangriga, Hopkins, Sittee River, Placencia, Punta Gorda, Tikal, Flores, Chetumal, or Cancun. We also recommend adding on a stop at either the Belize Zoo, Cave Tubing, Zip Lining, Inland Blue Hole, or San Ignacio Farmer’s Market to enhance your transfer and offer a bit of adventure. Arrangements for transfers and any accompanying stops can be made through our reservations office by emailing: [email protected]
The Belize City International Airport offers rental car options from several international agencies. In addition, Black Rock works with Crystal Auto and Black Rock Lodge guests receive a 10% discount on their rentals when mentioning their stay at BRL. www.crystal-auto.com.
Roads in Belize are generally paved, however, we do recommend renting a 4×4 for your trip to Black Rock as our 7 mile long dirt driveway can be muddy if we’ve recently received rain.
